Georgia Halden
GHGeorgia Halden grew up in western Colorado, where winter meant chains in the trunk and neighbors who left dinner when the county pager sounded. Her father volunteered with search and rescue. She learned early that the people who stay calm in an emergency are not always the ones who know what to say once the danger has passed.
Georgia writes love stories about people who know what to do in a crisis and have no idea what to do with each other. Her Pinewake Rescue novels begin with the call, but the real story is what waits afterward and whether two guarded people can make room for each other.
She lives on Colorado's Front Range with her husband and teenage daughter, neither of whom lets her choose the music on road trips.
